Palette Workflow

Generate a color palette from one color

Use one trusted color as the starting point, then build a balanced palette for UI design, branding, illustrations, and web projects.

A practical four-step palette method

1

Use your base color

Start with the main brand, product, or image color you already trust. This becomes the anchor for every other choice.

2

Create light and dark support colors

Build lighter tints for backgrounds and darker shades for headings, borders, and high-contrast states.

3

Add one accent color

Choose an accent that contrasts clearly with the base color. Use it for calls to action, highlights, and important states.

4

Check contrast in real UI

Test text, buttons, links, and cards with the palette. A palette is only useful if it remains readable in context.
